ACQUAINTANCE WITH STRANGE PLANT : RESURRECTION FERN (polypodium polypodioides)

The resurrection fern has a unique ability to survive for 100 years without water. When there is no water the plant curls up into a ball, turns brown and appears to be dead. When it comes in contact with water, it uncurls and come back to life.
